Anna Dudley (Barn Manager) has lived at One Body in Christ Ministries her whole life and has explored every nook and cranny there is at OBIC. She has been riding since before she could walk, and has taken two years of professional lessons in western style, five+ years of professional English lessons, and has trained in horse conditioning and care. Growing up with four siblings as well as many cousins, she is comfortable working with children for horse lessons. Anna got her own horse when she was just ten years old and has loved and cared for her ever since. Anna is a gifted artist as well, providing book illustrations for authors using mediums including: photography, pencil, watercolor, and acrylics. She loves to work with animals of all kinds, hike, play music, and hunt. She has wild aesthetic, an edgy outdoor style, and cares deeply about people, animals, and every part of God's creation.
Meet The Animals
Grace is the leader of our herd and has been at OBIC the longest. She is a beautiful Tennessee Walker/Paint, and definitely knows she’s gorgeous. She enjoys long trail rides and bonding one on one.
Pine is a sweetheart and a registered Paint. Anyone who meets him instantly falls in love with him. He enjoys going slow but listens very well when you ask him to pick up the pace. He is fearless on the trails and also doesn't mind to work in the ring.
Eve (short for Evening Star) is our gentle giant! She is an all black Percheron, except for a small white star on her forehead. She prefers to go slow and steady and loves trail rides! She used to pull a plow for the amish and is enjoying this new chapter of her life.
Arrow loves people, and will walk right up to you to say, “hello”. She has a lot of energy and is ready to go, but will also take care of her less experienced riders. We don't know much of Arrow's background but she has shown she knows a bit about barrel racing and is fearless on the trail.
Sky came to us with Arrow so we don't know much about her past either. Sky is more of a shy girl who sticks to herself. She does great on the trail and in the ring and has even shown a bit of talent in jumping. She successfully recovered from skin cancer not long after we got her.
Pippi is owned by Anna who lives on the farm but is often seen helping out with the ministry's many activities. She is the pony of the herd, but don't let her size full you. She has more spunk and sass than the horses twice her size.
Bella is our donkey and is often found hanging out in the petting zoo. Because of her size she isn't used for riding, but loves children and helps out for demonstrations during camps and events. Give her a scratch behind the ears and she'll love you forever!
Elinor is a sassy mini Jersey dairy cow. She is newer to the farm, but has made herself at home at OBIC.
